Ostrava Crystal Trophy

Between October and December 2004 the 2. Ostrava International Outdoor Film Festival toured around the country to screen a fine selection of movies in seven cities.

THE TRIP won the much wanted Crystal Trophy in it's category.

   
 

Prize for the New Generation:

The international jury, composed of chairman Peter Latzko (France) and members: Marek Tapak (Slovak Republic), Aljosa Markac (Slovenia) evaluated 34 competitive films from 14 countries from all over the world through October 13th to 17th.

Eventually the Jury of the 12th international Festival of Mountain Films Poprad decided to award
THE TRIP with the Prize for the New Generation.

 
 
THE TRIP was awarded the spectators' prize at the 21st International Mountaineering Festival in Teplice nad Metuj, Czeck Republic at August 29th 2004.

The Festival commitee was very pleased with this production and is looking forward to receive future projects.
 
   
 
THE TRIP was nominated for the Golden Alpine Camera Award at the 15th Mountain and Adventure Film Festival in Graz. It won the Honorable Mention in the category "Climbing on Rock and Ice"
The jury of the International Filmfestival in Graz commented The Trip as followed:
One bus, four guys, 150 cans of ravioli mixed with mountains of fun. In the best tradition of MTV style TV, "The Trip" shows the climbing and film making skills of these young men. The judges were impressed by the potential of these emerging filmmakers and encourages them to continue their work.
